I'm Victor. I build software, watch too many thrillers, and always have a home project on the go.

Eight years across local government and healthcare, making software people actually rely on. This is what I get up to outside of that.

The short version

Born and raised in Adelaide. I grew up around software — my dad is a developer, and as a kid I was never far from a computer, tinkering with gaming code before I really knew what I was doing. It stuck.

Most weekends you'll find me in the kitchen working through a recipe I have no business attempting, or outside at the grill. Table tennis runs a close second — my wife and I set the table up most weekends and it gets surprisingly competitive. Somewhere in between, the gym gets a look in. The rest of the time gets filled with movies, wine, travel, and whatever home project I've convinced myself I can finish in a weekend. Our cavoodle supervises all of it.

I love picking apart hard problems, learning new things, and exploring technologies I haven't used before.
